LINDA, THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH OUR MARRIAGE. YOU'RE NOT GIVING ME ALL YOUR LOVE!

WHAT GOOD ARE RICHES,. IF HE CAN'T GIVE ME THE BABY  ANOTHER WOMAN CALLS HER OWN?

I WAS TOLD -- MY HAPPINESS DIDN'T MATTER... THAT MY CHILD MUST NOT SUFFER THROUGH MY MISTAKES.

KAY FRANCIS IN "GIVE ME YOUR HEART"
9 CRITICS OUT OF 9 CHEER "NINE DAYS A QUEEN"

"Give Me Your Heart" is a drama, ultra-odern and startling daring with Kay Francis in the stellar role. She is supported by George Brent, Roland Young, Patrick Knowles, Henry Stephenson and Frieda Inescort.

The story, based on the play, "Sweet Aloes," concerns the romance of a young English girl and the nobleman who is married to a semi-invalid. Their child is taken into the nobleman's family. Seeking foretfulness in America, the girl marries a man whom she respects, but cannot love.

Torn with mother love, she seeks to drown her anguish in social gatherings. An old friend of the girl's and the nobleman's comes to America, together with the young nobleman, his wife and "their" child, and arranges a meeting of the two couples, unbeknown to either. An embarrassing situation is created but through the bigness of the nobleman's wife, matters are finally smoothed out.

"A WOMAN REBELS" GIRL'S LOVE PROBLEM

CHAPTER 1
Gideon Grange, an English country home during the 1870's is dominated by the tyrannical Judge Thistlewaite (Donald Crisp). His motherless daughters, Pamela (Katharine Hepburn) and Flora (Elizabeth Allen), are opposites -- Flora cringing submissively under her father's sternness; Pamela, a born rebel who dares to think for herself.

Flora finds her ideal knight in Alan Freeland (David Manners), a young naval officer, whom she marries. Pamela, to hid her loneliness, becomes intereste in Gerald Waring (Van Heflin), a dashing youth, to whom she surrenders during a tryst in the garden. Later she is shocked to learn that he is already married, and spurns him.

PAMELA FLEES

Soon after, Pamela realizes she is to be a mother, and afraid to stay under the Judge's eagle eye, goes to Italy to visit Flora dn Alan. Ther she meet Thomas Lane (Herbert Marshall), a sincere young diplomat.

On his first cruise Alan is killed in an explosion aboard his ship. Pamela finds that Flora, too, is going to have a child. She cares for her sister, but at the crisis both Flora and her baby die.

What happened to the baby? See Next Week's Newsette.

TRAILERS FOR DRESSING ROOMS

A large fleet of trailers, completely outfitted with all conveniences, is used for Bobby Breen's 'Rainbow on the River." These serve as dressing rooms both on location and at the studio.

Bobby Breen

HOLLYWOOD FLASHES

"General Delivery" title changed to "Wanted! Jane Turner"... New Lily Pons' cast now includes Gene Raymond, Ferdinand Gottschalk, Jack Oakie and Mischa Auer... Edward G. Robinson will be supported by Pat O'Brien and Barton MacLane in "Kid Galahad"... Jeanne Madden will be raised to Dick Powell's co-star in "Hollywood Hotel."

OUR LOUISE FIRST TO KISS TAYLOR

Louise Latimer, RKO Radio player, was the first Hollywood actress to kiss Robert Taylor.

When Louise and Bob were struggling to get ahead, about two years ago, she made a test with him at the studios.

"It was a very tender love scene," reminisced Louise, "although it was obvious he was talented, I never realized I was experience what feminine American (sic) would leave hime for today."

TIBBETT IN "UNDER YOUR SPELL" PLUS "DOWN THE STRETCH"

Once more the magnificent voice of Lawrence Tibbett comes to the talking screen in "Under Your Spell," a delightful burlesque of the life of operatic stars who are pushed and mauled around by managers, publicity agents, admiring women, and a miscellaneous assortmentof human leeches. It also introduces four-song successes by Howard Dietz and Arthur Schwartz.

Such favorite players as Gregory Ratoff, Wendy Barrie and Arthur Treacher support Lawrence Tibbett.

Lawrence Tibbett, Gergory Ratoff, Arthur Treacher and (in circle) Wendy Barrie.

Patricia Ellis and Mickey Rooney

A WINNER!

"Down the Stretch" is a winner! And the stars riding with it are Patricia Ellis, Mickey Rooney, Dennis Moore and a good supporting cast.

The story is built around a boy who is unable to get a stable job because his father had thrown a race. A woman owner of a famous racing stable finally takes him under her wing. Only when they need a sustitute horse in the Derby is a chance taken on the youth.

Lady in Love

JANET GAYNOR's one of the four "Ladies in Love." She craves someone to mother and care for.
