What we Know about BEBE!

A dress and a pair of slippers 'borrowed' from her mother without her knowledge started Bebe on her motion picture career.

About ten years ago, an ambitious youngster, known as "Lonesome Luke" to a few friends, wasn't getting much of a tumble from the public.. still he needed a leading lady for his picture.

His manager had the name of Phyllis Daniels on file. He phoned her. Bebe answered the phone. This was Bebe's chance. She ransacked the house and sallied forth. Altho just a child.. the dress and the slippers did their stuff. She was given the job.

"Lonesome Luke" was Harold Lloyd.

That was Bebe's start in Motion Pictures.

Bebe is a native of Dallas, Texas. Born on January 14th... well, not so long ago. Her mother Phyllis Daniels was very prominent on the legitimate stage.

Sh! And did you know that Bebe was a bibliophile? Oh, yes.. she has a library which contains more than 30,000 volumes.

Country of Origin, U. S. A.
