Wide Resonse to Hal Roach, Loew Theatres, Daily Mirror Talent Contest

Thousands of photos and letters are being received daily for the comedy talent contest now being conducted by Hal Roach, producer of the famous M-G-M comedies, The Loew Theatres and the Daily Mirror.

Producer Roach hopes to find new funny folks for his movie productions by means of this contest! Preliinaries will be held at the various Loew Theatres, followed by semi-finals, and then by the Grand Finals, winner of which will be given a chance to act in a real Hal Roach movie comedy.

Movie Roles and Over $1,000 Cash Awards for Winners of Talent Contest

This contest is unusual in that it provides an immediate cchance for the winners to act in the movies! Hal Roach will produce a two reel comedy, right here in New York City, the cast of which will include the winners of this contest!

Over $1,000 will be paid in salaries to those chosen for this Hal Roach contest movie comedy, which will be screened in the Loew Theatres throughout the country!

Remember! It's not a beauty contest -- but a contest to find persons who can make others laugh!
